Public Forum and Launching of Framework for Media Reforms in The Gambia. The Gambia Press Union and its partners, The Media Foundation For West Africa, the International Media Support and Gambia Media support initiated a project for the development of the media in The Gambia to play its rightful role in assisting in the rebuilding of democracy in the country.

The objective of today's forum is to present the strategic framework by expert group and to seek inputs from the general public and way of validating the framework work.

The strategic document looks at key issues such as legal and policy reforms, capacity development and institutional strengthening.
